Do Hunter Boots Run Big?

Yes — Hunter Original boots are designed with a generous, roomy fit to accommodate thick socks and active movement. Most wearers find they run one half to one full size large. We recommend sizing down if you're between sizes or plan to wear thin socks.

Width & Foot Shape

Hunter Original boots are cut for a standard to wide calf and a medium-to-wide foot width. If you have a narrow foot, consider sizing down one size and wearing a thicker wool sock to fill the toe box. If you have a wide or D-width foot, your true size will generally fit comfortably.

Sock Allowance

Thin liner socks: Size down ½ size for a snug fit.
